SLOVENIA

When i’ve asked friends what they think of Slovenia they often reply, “Where’s that?” or “ I’ve never heard of it.” Wedged between Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. The Ex-Yugoslavian country may not be known to many but for me it holds an important transitional period in my life. I was lucky enough to display my first debut solo exhibition “Places of Solitude ( Kraji Samote) at Galerija Media Nox, Maribor in September of 2018. I, like many of my friends was oblivious to the gorgeous landscapes and history that Slovenia contains.

I, like many of my friends was oblivious to the gorgeous landscapes and history that Slovenia contains. Slovenia had me hooked as soon as I landed at Ljubljana airport. Surrounded by mountains the view from the plane window was captivating. I instantly knew I was going to fall in love with this small country.

I spent the first week in Koper, a port city in the southwestern part of the country with beautiful architecture
