FROM CALIFORNIA TO SEATTLE
In 2014 I was invited on a road trip to the U.S.A with my good friend and inspirational photographer Amelia Le Bruin. We rented a motorhome in Los Angeles California and set out along highway one. Visiting locations like Yosemite, Canon beach, Mount Rainer, San Fransisco, the Olympic national park, Portland Oregon, and many others. It had always been my dream to travel to America since my brief stint in New York in 2010. But I wasn’t prepared for how grand and spectacular the landscapes in America had to offer. Every day was like living in a dream, a wild American dream.
The landscapes were like nothing I had ever seen before, the immensity, the beauty and the diversity inspired and challenged me in a way I will never forget. It’s difficult to say that my photographs do any justice to these landscapes as you really have to experience them for yourself.
The west coast of America will always have a special place in my heart and my dreams.
